Get to know Coach Lauren Wilson, U9-U10 Girls Director!

Which of the Cleveland Force SC core values resonates with you the most and why?

"The Cleveland Force Soccer Club core value that resonates with me the most is commitment.  Time is a non-renewable resource. We will never get it back. When I decide to do something I commit to it 100%.  Whether it is my role as a mother, teacher, daughter, wife, friend and/or coach. I always give my all. How you do anything is how you do everything. Also changing your mindset that you don’t have to do things, you get to them, allows you to fully commit and be the best version of yourself."

What drives you to coach?

"What drives me as a coach is the lifelong influence I get to have on our youth.  I hope I can positively impact my players to be the best version of themselves both as a person, teammates and player.  From developing a passion for owning their progress and what they put into it is what they will get out of it."

Why have you chosen to work with Cleveland Force? What are some benefits CFSC has over opposing clubs?

"Cleveland Force welcomed me with open arms and I have always felt empowered, appreciated and valued by the club. Everyone I work with in the club values every kid in the program, no matter what team they are on. What sets Force apart from other clubs is our coaches and trainers and the high quality sessions we give our players. We value and are committed to the development of ALL players both as people and soccer players on and off the field."

What’s Next?

"I try to live in the moment. I am not sure what tomorrow will bring. I always put my best foot forward and look for ways to challenge and better those around me."

Besides soccer, what drives you?

"I am an early riser. I enjoy starting my day on my Peloton treadmill, bike and lifting weights.  Movement and wellness and another passion of mine, which is why I am a physical education teacher for the Twinsburg City Schools. I am a proud mother of Kyle (15 years old), Mia (13 years old) and Remy (11 years old). I am thankful for my husband Michael who supports all my endeavors."

Special Mention

"I am excited to have met Coach CJ Kessler at Force who is going to be joining our coaching staff at Solon High School. I am thankful for the amazing people Force has brought into my life."
