USL Academy:
Marco Valentic, this year's captain, played in three USL 2 games this summer. In all three appearances he was a dominant player. His college experience is off to a great start. He has started all pre-season in the midfield at Bucknell University.
In our first fall game we fell to Louisville City SC 2-1. The team played well, but between injuries, absences, and the heat we could not hold Louisville City back after going up 1 nil on a free kick by Glory Hser in the 65 minute.
USL League Two:
It was a difficult season of maturing as the youngest team in the league, but some fruit has come out of the season.
BOYS ECNL:
Our ECNL teams have not started their game schedule yet, but we are really pleased with what we are seeing in training and excited for the season to start! Shout out to our 2022 Graduates competing in their first collegiate seasons. Keep scrolling to our Boys High Performance Regional section to see where our ECNL grads are playing now!
The month of August marks the beginning of a new season and welcoming back all of our players to the club. Our 2009 and 2010 ECNL Girls have been preparing diligently for the start of their ECNL season on 9/10 in Indianapolis. While our HS aged ECNL kids have a number of players who have chosen to train with the club for the fall. They have been challenged during their training sessions by competing with and against many of our ECNL boys. The U13 and U14 ECNL teams kicked off their league season last weekend with a trip to play FC Pride and Indiana Fire Jrs in Indianapolis before heading to Columbus the following weekend for the Ohio Premier Invitational.
We would also like to wish our graduating class of ‘22 the best of luck as they embark on their freshman campaigns at the following schools:
MacKenzie Muir - Duquesne University
Liv Fain - Cleveland State University
Emma King - University of Akron
Abby Koly - Bowling Green State University
Kylie Schiemann - Valparaiso University
Allie Drake - St Bonaventure University

The ECNL-R has made major strides over the Summer. While we're excited to begin the Fall Season it's important to celebrate some of the major highlights over the past three months.
The 2006 ECNL-R team was able to compete in the ECNL-R Finals in Seattle, WA, where they won their final game in dramatic fashion, in pk's. We were one of only six ECNL-R teams to earn this opportunity.
Additionally, Skylar Rooks and Maeve Kelly, from our 2006 ECNL-R team, were named to the ECNL-R Ohio Valley Conference Team.
As we begin the Fall, the 2010 and 2009 ECNL-R Girls recently began preparing for their season that officially begins September 10th. John Bena will be coaching both teams through the year. The teams have a lot of new faces and are excited to compete! Both teams will attend the OP Invitational in Columbus September 17th and 18th.
We're proud of the below former ECNL-R 2022 graduates who have moved on to play at the collegiate level.
Ryley Andamasaris - Tiffin University
Andrea Parker - Tiffin University
Yaniah Powell - Edinboro College
Jillian Kalic - Edinboro College
Marysa Starcher - Muskingum University
Gia Germana - Marietta College

Libby Kiker - The College of Wooster
ECNL-R 2005 player, Rachel Sheehan was named All SWC Player of the Week for her fantastic play to open the season as a Senior at Avon Lake.
Caitlin Rose and Kaylee Synk, from the 2007 ECNL-R team, playing for opposing High Schools, but still displaying their friendship.
Congratulations to Andrea Parker who earned the starting GK position as a Freshman at Tiffin University.
We started off the Regional League season by beating Spire FC (10’s) and tying them (09's) in the opening weekend further proving our clubs quality and depth over other local clubs. We are looking forward to this weekend with two big events for out ECNL & ECNL-R Teams. After the weekend Invitationals, it's a quick turn-a-around for our ECNL-Regional teams returning to league play on 9/24!
Our ECNL-Regional Teams Heading to Ohio Premier Invitational in Dublin, OH - Sept 16th -18th!

Good Luck to our 2022 Cleveland Force Graduates throughout their Fall Collegiate seasons!
We hope this message finds you well!
We had a great summer of training and memories. As we start the 22/23 Season, let's keep in mind that our CFSC members make up an ecosystem of families/players working in conjunction with each other and interacting as a system to create a safe, fun, and educational experience for the boys and girls of the club. As a result of your cooperation (#CHIRP), we see a tremendous opportunity to provide our children with soccer and life experiences unique to our club. To create this experience, we must continue to "do our part" to help manage our CFSC ecosystem. Our commitment to the process and each other will help provide experiences that will positively impact our children for a lifetime. That said, sideline behavior and our culture are a priority this season and forever. Please see the member handbook to learn more about the expectations of parents, players, and coaches.
We want to share the "5 Rules" we have for CFSC players in the hope that you will support our effort to create an unparalleled "high performance" development environment. Our experiences have taught us that these are vital components to long-term success on and off the field (#CHIRP).
1. Give 100% to whatever you do (Commitment)
2. Welcome feedback (Humility)
3. Try to be on time, but if late, run (Integrity)
4. Listen with eyes and ears (Respect)
5. Work Hard (Passion)
Thanks for taking the time to read through the newsletter! With the kids returning to school and all the reading/planning that comes with it, we truly appreciate you taking the time to invest in your child's soccer development on and off the field!
We look forward to a positive sports experience this year!
Here We GROW Again!!!!
Cleveland Force Soccer Club Competitive Tier is on the move thanks to the conscientious effort of the club to expand into areas once thought of being beyond the sphere of influence of the club.
The club is finding a way to offer the same superior coaching, structure and facilities to players that live south of the Cleveland area but in a way that continues to separate us from the other clubs in the area.

Winter 2022-23 Teams:
To be determined, but the expectation is that we will exceed last year's team total for winter and spring programming.
We are committed and progressive with our goal of club expansion and development and have surprised the establishment with our brand of club soccer development options.
We are off to an exciting start to the Fall season and are seeing significant commitment from our players.
Most impressive is seeing how much our “South” location at Western Reserve Academy is growing across the club!
We can't wait to see what the season will bring and we are ready for the experience using our Core Values:
COMMITMENT. HUMILITY. INTEGRITY. RESPECT. PASSION.
Although we took a slight break in the Summer, it was an interesting transition time for the Juniors Academy and for the U9/10 CFSC teams. An additional 80 players moved up from the Juniors Academy into the club, and are now participating on our entry level teams. five of our eleven Under 10 teams (2013 Boys East, 2013 Boys West, 2013 Girls East, 2013 Girls West, 2013 Girls South) moved up to our High Performance Environment and will test their skills against top Regional competition, with the others competing in various levels of the Casa Premier league. We also now boast 8 teams in the 2014 age group (5 boys, 3 girls) - also competing in the CASA League.
We are now in full swing with our expanded offering of fall Minis, Juniors Instructional and Juniors Academy training and leagues, with options at 6 locations:
We look forward to another great season with these talented groups.
It is not too late to sign up, as the fees are pro-rated based on start date!
